Required Documents:
- Last year/semester mark sheet
- Identity proof
- Convocation fees receipt (if paid)
1. Mumbai University is located near Santacruz station (on Western Line) and Kurla station (on Central line).
2. From Kurla station, you can catch BEST bus (# 313 or # 318). Get a ticket for the EXAM HOUSE - MUMBAI University campus (5 Rupees).
3. If you have not paid the convocation fees :
- Get the convocation form from the Inquiry Window 1. Fees is 270 Rupees (Late fees 370 Rupees). Enter the necessary details in the form like name/ college/ course/ result/ postal address. Also get the entry pass from Window 2.
- Submit the form in the Baroda bank inside the Exam house building. Get the receipt and submit the remaining form on second floor room number 47.
- Get the receipt and preserve it. If you don't receive the degree certificate by post/courier in 6 months, you will have to come to the university to collect it and at that time you will have to show the receipt of convocation fees. please follow the step 4 in that case.
4. If you have already paid the convocation fees at least 6 months before and haven't received your degree certificate by post/courier, go to Window 2.
- Get the Entry pass from Window 2 for convocation line on ground floor
- Enter the building by showing the Entry pass. After entering, you will see a counter/line immediately on the ground floor. Get in the corresponding queue (Engineering/ BA/ BCom/ BSc...)
- Show the documents (mark sheet and convocation fees receipt) at the counter. The persons at this counter are quite helpful. Please be patient.
- The person will find your convocation number based on your seat number at the time of exam, your name and class of your passing in the stream. From that convocation number, degree certificate can be found. This process can take from 10 minutes to 4 hours. Be patient.
- In rare cases, the person may not find your degree certificate. Be cool. Leave your contact numbers to them. DO NOT FORGET to get their contact numbers and names of the concerned persons. You might have to come back after 2/3 days to see if they have found your certificate.
6. To get back to your central/ western station, you will find share rickshaws (10 Rupees).
Dhan-ta-Dan...
